School uniform helps your child to identify with being a part of the St. John’s Primary and Nursery school community. We expect all children to wear the appropriate school uniform at all times. Your child will also need to bring a coat to school every day, as they access the outside areas.
Our school uniform is as follows:
- Grey, black or navy trousers, skirt or shorts, pinafores, or checked dresses may also be worn.
- White or blue shirt or polo top.
- Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
- All children should wear sensible black shoes.
We are happy for you to purchase these items from any supplier but if you would like to have the school logo on your sweatshirt or polo top we suggest a company called My Clothing and you can find a link to their website below.
P.E. kits should consist of navy blue, grey or black jogging bottoms or shorts and during the winter months, a sweat top in navy blue, grey or black. They should wear a polo-shirt in the colour of their House (red, green, yellow or blue) and a pair of trainers or plimsolls. Please check with your child’s teacher which day they will need their P.E. kit in school and ensure you child has it with them when they come to school. It is very important your child is able to take part in P.E. lessons. Football kits are not permitted for P.E. lessons.
