Thu 14 Feb 2019Mr O'Connor was lucky enough to meet silver medal Olympian Colin Jackson today. Colin Jackson is a famous sprinter and hurdler who has represented his country many times and is a Commonwealth and European Champion. Lets hope he's inspired Mr O'Connor!

Reception and Nursery Classes Ditch Plastic Straws!
Fri 30 Nov 2018In a bid to be more environmentally friendly, Seahorse, Clownfish and Shrimps have ditched little cartons of milk with plastic straws for their milk time and now have reusable beakers and big bottles of milk.
Tom said "Cups of milk are better because straws don't break down"
Jayden said "We can have cups of milk because we are being sensible".
Ellie said "Having cups of milk is better for the planet"
Well done to those classes for setting such a good example to us all about simple ways we can help protect our planet :)

Road Closure
Tue 27 Nov 2018The road outside our school now has a temporary road closure in place which means every morning 8.15-9am and afternoon 2.45-3.30pm cars cannot drive down French Street from the main school gates. This will make it much safer for all our children coming and going from school. -
Parents Evenings
Wed 31 Oct 2018There will be parent's meetings on Wednesday 21 November and Thursday 22 November. Please be sure to make an appointment with the class teacher in the playground. -

St Johns children perform at the CAN Launch
Fri 09 Feb 2018Some children from Dolphin and Swordfish class were asked to perform two dances at the launch event of Clean Air Network. They did a really fantastic job after only a short rehearsal and lots of the other attendees were really impressed by how well they performed and how well they behaved.
